If you are considering selling your items with us we offer a free, expert valuation service. Bring your items along to Summersgills at Easingwold  Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.

 

Alternatively you may email a photograph of your items to be valued. This is particularly useful if your items are large and difficult to transport.

Please email your photographs to info@summersgills.com and include measurements, details of any maker’s marks, labels, artist’s signature and provenance.

Valuation service for Probate, Family Division and Insurance

 

As a family run business we pride ourselves in the level of service we provide at this difficult time and the upmost care is taken to provide this service with the minimum of intrusion.  We will respond quickly to requests for probate valuations to take an inventory of the personal property. From this a full valuation, on the basis of open market value, will be prepared for use in obtaining grant of probate.

There are no limits on the number of copies you require to assist executors in the identification and dispersal of bequests, items to be retained by family members and any residual contents for consignment to auction.
